Presented by the Angelo Gilardino Association in collaboration with the City of Vercelli, this spectacular event will take place at the Leone Museum and ARCA, the city's most prestigious exhibition venue.
This remarkable showcase will feature over 50 guitars crafted by some of the most renowned international luthiers whose work has shaped the history of the guitar. Among the featured luthiers are Antonio de Torres, Manuel and José Ramírez, Enrique Garcia, Francisco Simplicio, Hermann Hauser I and II, Robert Bouchet, Daniel Friederich, and other legendary luthiers. What sets this exhibition apart is the collection of guitars once owned by some of the greatest performers in classical guitar history. Among the treasures on display are instruments that belonged to luminaries such as: Andrés Segovia, Ida Presti, Domingo Prat, Reino Sainz de la Maza, and John Williams. Visitors will have the opportunity to witness the artistry and innovation that have defined the evolution of this iconic instrument. Additionally, there is also going to be a conference with lectures by Lorenzo Frignani, Mario Grimaldi, Salvatore Sapero, Gianni Accornero, and Stefano Grondona.
