GSI Announces Exclusive Black Friday Promotion: Free TeacherNet Lessons with a Guitar Purchase

This Black Friday, we’re offering a special way to grow both your guitar collection and your playing. Since launching in-person lessons at GSI in 2023 and launching  TeacherNet  earlier this year, we’ve been building a community of students connecting with great teachers. Now we’re making it even easier to get started.

For a limited time, customers who purchase a guitar from GSI will receive complimentary lesson credit on TeacherNet. The higher the value of the guitar, the more credit you receive—an ideal moment to invest in an instrument and in your own progress.

How the Promotion Works

From now through December 3rd, 2025, every customer purchasing a guitar priced over $1,000 (before tax and shipping) will automatically qualify for free TeacherNet credit:

• $1,000–$4,999: $106 credit (approximately 1 lesson)

• $5,000–$9,999: $212 credit (approximately 2 lessons)

• $10,000–$14,999: $318 credit (approximately 3 lessons)

• $15,000 and above: $424 credit (approximately 4 lessons)

After the purchase is finalized (after any trial period is completed), you’ll receive a personalized promo code. This code can be used for online lessons on TeacherNet or for in-person lessons at GSI in Santa Monica. Codes may also be gifted to someone else.

Please note: Marketplace guitars, auction guitars, discounted guitars, and other non-standard transactions are excluded from this promotion.

In-Person Lesson Option at GSI

Customers who choose to use their credit in person may study with one of GSI’s local instructors, based on availability:

• Dr. Ashley Lucero – Performer, composer, and educator known for her thoughtful and engaging approach to developing players.

• Dr. Tomasz Fechner – International performer with extensive teaching experience in Europe and the U.S.

Lessons take place in the GSI showroom and the payments are made via TeacherNet so you can use the same code for in-person lessons.
