Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" on Four Classical Guitars
Our friends from the Omni Foundation for the Performing Arts have recently published a remarkable video! It's a stunning guitar rendition of Queen's iconic 'Bohemian Rhapsody,' arranged for four guitars by Francisco Albert Ricote. The piece, originally composed by Freddie Mercury, is known for its operatic structure and groundbreaking use of multiple musical genres. Francisco, along with the other members of QuarteTomás—Marco Smaili, Miguel Garcia Ferrer, and Pepe Payá—brings this legendary song to life in a new way. The video was recorded in the Gran Teatro de Elche, Spain - a perfect location for this operatic piece.
