Cody Noriega Visits GSI to Select a Guitar for His Giveaway

Recently, our good friend Cody Noriega stopped by Guitar Salon International with a clear mission: find a concert-level classical guitar in the $2,000–$3,000 range to give away to one of his subscribers.

During his visit, Cody spent time exploring a variety of instruments built both in Spain and abroad, comparing differences in tone, responsiveness, construction, and overall playability. With guidance from GSI President David Collett, he carefully evaluated how different tonewoods, designs, and building approaches influence sound and feel — the kind of hands-on comparison that’s hard to replicate without having the guitars in the same room.
