European Guitar Quartet Performs Belafonte

We are thrilled to share a stunning new video from our friends at the Omni Foundation for the Performing Arts. This time, it's a performance of the European Guitar Quartet filmed in Decin, Czech Republic.

The European Guitar Quartet is an ensemble that bridges the gap between classical tradition and modern fingerstyle. The group features some the most distinguished names in the guitar world: Zoran Dukic, Pavel Steidl, Thomas Fellow, and Reentko Dirks.

In this featured video, the quartet performs a vibrant arrangement of Harry Belafonte’s "Turn the World Around," arranged by members Reentko Dirks and Thomas Fellow. The performance perfectly captures the group’s mission: pushing the boundaries of the concert guitar through a fusion of world music, jazz, and classical mastery.
