Filippos Manoloudis Records GSI Videos in Jochen Rothel's Workshop in Sommerhausen, Germany
We have three new videos for you recorded on location as a result of a collaboration with our friends from D'Addario. This time, we've published a video of Filippos Manoloudis, a young guitarist from Greece. The video was recorded on the newest guitar that Jochen Rothel built for GSI and the video shoot took place in Jochen Rothel's workshop in Sommerhausen, Germany.
Filippos is a D'Addario artist with over 16 prizes earned in national and international classical guitar competitions. Among the most important of his successes are: 1st prize in the "Volos International Guitar Festival" (Greece), 1st prize at the "Guitar Art Festival" in Belgrade (Serbia), 2nd prize at the "3rd Pittaluga Junior Competition" in Italy, and 1st prize at the "Pleven Guitar Festival" (Bulgaria).
In the video below, you can hear Filippos performing Ansgar Krause's classical guitar arrangement of "Danse Bohémienne" by Claude Debussy. The second clip features short footage of Jochen Rothel discussing the guitar used in the video.
