GSI and TeacherNet Partner with Forum Music Festivals for the Inaugural Guitar Select Festival

We are proud to team up with Forum Music Festivals for the Guitar Select Festival, a first-of-its-kind adjudicated event dedicated entirely to guitar ensembles, taking place March 5, 2027 in Anaheim, CA.

Forum Music Festivals has spent more than three decades bringing rated, non-competitive music festivals to student musicians across the western United States, working with over 22,000 students a year across dozens of events. The Guitar Select Festival marks their first program built just for guitar ensembles, featuring expert adjudicators, a participation rating plaque for every group, and an Outstanding Musician Award selected from each ensemble.

To help celebrate the young musicians recognized at the festival, GSI and TeacherNet are jointly sponsoring a TeacherNet lesson credit for every Outstanding Musician award winner. TeacherNet is GSI's online platform where students can take classical and flamenco guitar lessons with some of the world's finest artists and teachers, and the credit gives each winner a head start on lessons with a teacher of their choice.
