Matt Bacon at GSI

Matt Bacon is a young guitarist who is currently teaching at the KM Music Conservatory in Chennai, India. He stopped by on his most recent visit back to the US and recorded some great pieces for us, including Manuel de Falla’s Homage Pour Le Tombeau de Debussy on a 2007 Sebastian Stenzel in spruce and CSA rosewood, and Isaac Albeniz’s Mallorca on a great 2015 G. V. Rubio ‘Estudio 640’ model in cedar and palo escrito. Next week we’ll have some of Matt’s compositions inspired by his time in India.
