NAMM Report - iPhone/iPad Interfaces

So this isn’t so much for us classical/flamenco folks either, but a big thing at NAMM this year are interfaces for electric guitars into iPhones or iPads – the idea being that rather than have a bunch of pedals, you control all of your dsp straight from your phone. And I was just starting to get used to seeing laptops on stage. Now we won’t know if musicians are texting or tweaking their guitar sound in the middle of a set. Anyway, IK Multimedia have had one out for a few months, so here’s a video about how their interface and software work.
