"We Are Guitar" Returns with Episode 13 (Minisode), Featuring Daniel Vildosola

The We Are Guitar series is back with a brand-new Episode 13 (minisode) published on the GSI YouTube channel!

Produced by our friends at Lead Guitar in collaboration with the GSI Foundation and the Augustine Foundation, We Are Guitar celebrates the dedication and talent of students in Lead Guitar programs across the country. These special minisodes — released between full-length episodes — feature virtual ensemble performances created by the Virtual Guitar Orchestra, bringing together Lead Guitar students from around the U.S. with a special guest artist.

This time, the spotlight is on Daniel Vildosola — a Mexican-American musician, composer, and producer who formerly served as a Teaching Artist with Lead Guitar. After leaving the program in 2013 to tour globally with the Broadway musical American Idiot, Daniel relocated to London where he’s become a major presence in both the alternative roots and electronic music scenes. He’s a core member of HAELOS and has worked with an impressive roster of artists including Passenger, Will Young, Willow Kayne, CMAT, Bea Elmy Martin, and John Waugh.

For Episode 13, students perform the song “Let Her Go” — a piece with personal significance to Daniel, who is featured in the official anniversary edition video of the track by Passenger and Ed Sheeran.
