The GSI Foundation raises necessary funds primarily from donated guitars which are sold through Guitar Salon International. Some used guitars donated to our charity are also given directly to classical guitar programs in public schools in Los Angeles.

Can I donate other musical instruments?
The GSI Foundation also accepts other musical instruments, such as:
- ukuleles
- banjos
- electric guitars
- acoustic guitars
- violins
- etc.
These instruments can also be donated by calling or emailing us to arrangeshipment or by dropping these instruments at the GSI Foundation inSanta Monica.
Is this donation tax deductible?

The GSI Foundation also accepts used guitars that children can use directly in classical guitar programs, assuming that a donated guitar is a good fit for children taking their first classical guitar lessons.
