Description

This is a fine concert-level guitar built in the renowned Madrid workshop of Ignacio Rozas, who worked in both the Jose Ramirez shop (1959-1969) and the Contreras shop (1970-1987) before setting up on his own. Like the Contreras "Double Top", this Rozas is built similarly - namely a spruce "back" is attached to the inside of the rosewood back, which both improves outbound volume (by making the body more rigid) and warms the sound up, giving it a bit more thickness and character. Although a spruce, it has a rich, full-bodied tone in addition to being clear and balanced. It's made with beautiful materials and has Rozas' classic headstock - which is topped with an ebony toreador cap. Although used, it is in fantastic condition, with only minor signs of playing wear - no damage or repairs at all.
