Filippos Manoloudis Performs 7 Études by Fernando Sor

Filippos Manoloudis, the Greek guitarist who took First Prize at the 2026 Concerts in America International Concert Artist Competition, has just released a striking new video with the Omni Foundation for the Performing Arts. Filmed at Dr. Hoch's Konservatorium in Frankfurt am Main, the video features Manoloudis performing seven études by Fernando Sor on a Stauffer guitar from the first half of the 19th century.

The program spans Sor's Op. 6, 29, 31, and 35, offering a compact but rich survey of his writing across different keys and moods.
