Gerardo Centonze's Prize-Winning Guitar Is Coming Soon to GSI!
Last month, Italian guitar maker, Gerardo Centonze won the third prize in the classical guitar category of the prestigious Antonio Marin Montero Guitar Building Competition in Granada, Spain. We're very pleased to share with you that the actual prize-winning guitar from Granada, will be making its way soon to GSI to be featured in our shop. It's an instrument made from absolutely stunning materials - a beautiful set of very dark cedar used for the soundboard, and CSA rosewood used for the back and sides.
Check out some sneak peek photos below. We've also received a fantastic video recorded on this guitar - Antonio Rugolo's performance of Francisco Tarrega's "Estudio de Velocidad". Antonio Rugolo is a guitar teacher at the Matera Conservatory in Italy.
