Humidification Time is Upon Us

News

humi

Fall is, among other things, a really good time to make sure you have your humidification under control. You may not have a problem in the first place, of course, so at the very least you should consider getting a hygrometer to see where your humidity levels are. If you’re in that good 50% range then you probably don’t need to do anything, but if you’re significantly above or below that range then it may be time to take some action to ensure the health of your instruments. Check out these two articles from our archive to determine whether or not you have a problem and to see some of the available solutions for dealing with humidity issues: Care for the Classical & Flamenco Guitar: Part 1 and Guitar Care, Part 2, which deals with some other issues pertaining to keeping your instrument healthy and happy. And be sure to check out our Humidification Page to see the latest in humidification products.
