Description

1990s Condes from the Atocha shop were always reliable, go-to instruments for many famous Spanish pros. Mariano de Cordoba played them exclusively. Gerardo Nuñez had one too. Chicuelo plays their current guitars, almost exclusively. But the 1990s was their great era. Dry, precise, with a snappy picado, and balanced across the width and length of the fretboard. These perform beautifully in front of the microphone, without the tendency to feed back, and are built strongly enough to withstand touring and gigging. This one's a true professional; Don Soledad used it for one of his albums, and it’s priced today for the working musician. Condition is excellent for its year and history, just one of those common cracks along the side of fretboard that has been repaired, and some light overall playing wear. Wooden pegs have been replaced with mechanical ‘Pegheds’ tuners for the old-school look yet ease of use. A great buy.
