Description

From one of the most famous Granada workshops, this guitar was made by the late Jose Lopez Bellido (1943-2024) who came to be known and equally respected for both his flamenco and classical guitars. Having trained and worked with such luthiers as Eduardo Ferrer, Antonio Marin Montero, and Antonio Rayo Pardo, his guitars capture the traditional spirit of fine handmade concert instruments. This guitar has a strong bite with a noticeably brilliant attack that is matched with a subtle warmth, which we think would make it a great concert classical or even a strong flamenco negra (with action adjustment and addition of tap-plate) - very versatile and strong instrument in either setting. Condition is excellent and original with no prior damage or repairs, only some very mild wear in the finish. Overall a very strong and well-priced southern Spanish concert guitar by any measure.
