Stefan Nitschke's "Hauser" Model is Coming Soon to GSI!
Stefan Nitschke has shared with us sneak peek photos of his newest classical guitar that he is currently building for GSI. This is going to be his "Hauser" model which he considered to be an interpretation of several Hermann Hauser I guitars that he has seen. The internal details are largely based on the famous 1937 Hauser guitar that belonged to the great Andres Segovia.
Stefan chose some great materials for this instrument, and especially noteworthy is a striking set of bearclaw spruce used for the top. This is going to be our third "Hauser" model by this maker featured at GSI. Stephan's previous guitar (2022) that we had in our stock was featured in our "Luthier Spotlight" video that we recorded on location with our friends from D'Addario.
