D'Addario Artist, Veronika Mushkina, Records On-Location on a Stefan Nitschke "Hauser" guitar.

Luthier Spotlight

Our collaboration with D'Addario has brought us the third set of GSI videos recorded on-location in Europe. This time, we had the pleasure of recording Veronika Mushkina, an incredibly talented D'Addario artist. Veronika recorded her GSI videos on our new 2022 Stefan Nitschke "Hauser" SP/CSAR classical guitar fitted with D'Addario EJ45 strings. The videos were filmed by our friends from D'Addario at the beautiful Michelchen chapel in the Elisabeth Church in Marburg, Germany.

Veronika was born in 1993 in Nizhniy Novgorod (Russia). She began her musical education at the age of five, initially learning the piano for two years before switching to classical guitar. Veronika studied at the Robert Schumann Hochschule under prof. Alexander-Sergei Ramirez. She is a prize-winner of many international competitions in Europe.

Veronika recorded three pieces during her video shoot - "Phantaisia D-Major" by David Kellner (1670-1748) transcribed by Hubert Käppel, "Minuets No. 2 & 15" by Pedro Ximénez Abrill Tirado (1780-1856), and "Tiento Antiguo" by Joaquin Rodrigo (1901-1999). Stefan Nitschke was also present during this video shoot and he shared insights about himself and his new guitar featured in the video.
