Liuteria Frignani is a new project launched in 2024 with the arrival of Eugenio Frignani into the family workshop in Modena, Italy. Building on the long career of master luthier Lorenzo Frignani (Eugenio's father), this new chapter combines Lorenzo’s decades of instrument-making expertise with Eugenio’s commercial background and fresh perspective.
While Lorenzo continues his internationally recognized work as a builder, researcher, and teacher, Liuteria Frignani represents a parallel direction within the workshop. The instruments created under this name are rooted in historic models and are crafted with the same care and attention to detail, but with their own distinct identity.
Liuteria Frignani reflects the evolving story of a family workshop—honoring tradition while opening a new path for future generations of players.
