Possibly one of the most played and known of any Spanish made guitar in history, the Ramirez 1a model continues to satisfy players as a truly outstanding performance instrument by any standard. This guitar has all the color and warmth normally associated with a great Ramirez, and has playability more like these Madrid-made guitars of the 1950s. For attention to detail, quality of construction and sound, we rate this instrument very highly.
This 1998 model is in great condition, with no damage or repairs, and only some normal wear on the body. Also it was originally built as a left-handed guitar (and not "converted") so the asymmetrical 6-fan bracing system with treble-stiffener are correctly "reversed" compared to their regular, right-handed model. This is a very rare opportunity for a left-handed guitarist to acquire a classic 1a model from this famous workshop!
