Description

Possibly one of the most played and known of any Spanish made guitar in history, the Ramirez 1a model continues to satisfy players as a truly outstanding performance instrument by any standard. It was built in the famous Jose Ramirez workshop, which for over a century has produced instruments performed on by countless professionals from Sting to Segovia, Chet Atkins to Sabicas and Lee Ritenour to Christopher Parkening.

The "1a Traditional" represents top quality in workmanship, detail and choice of wood. This model features a particularly striking and beautiful set of rosewood for the back and sides. It has one of their their classic "rose" rosettes and purfling which are absolutely stunning. It has all the color and warmth that is normally associated with a great classic Ramirez. For attention to detail, quality of construction and sound, this is a first-class instrument. Although used, this 1999 model is in great condition, with almost no wear in the finish.
