Description

This is an extremely powerful "double-top" (with nomex core) from its most famous exponent, Matthias Dammann. His reputation has been well-established for several decades due to the many top players of Dammann guitars which famously include Scott Tennant, Manuel Barrueco, David Russell and Andrew York, among others. This guitar is in excellent condition - apart from some wear in the finish, the guitar has no cracks or repairs and is in prime condition for further use in any professional setting. As is well known about these guitars, the sound is extremely powerful, very bold and requires little effort from the player to produce a huge sound. This design, based around this lightweight and efficient top, has been very attractive to hosts of top players in their search to find a guitar with immediate response, enhanced volume and ease of play. This is an extremely well-preserved and impressive example of Dammann at his best that will appeal to the most discriminating collector or concert performer.
