Description
Based out of Washington state, John Peter Barthell started building guitars in 1976. He's largely self taught, with only minor assists from Irving Sloane and Robert Ruck. This is a concert-level guitar that is fairly traditional in construction with a 7-fan bracing system. The neck is bolted to the body, which creates a very stiff neck joint and improved sustain, much like a piano. The sound is direct, bold and very wide. Condition is practically "like new" with no damage or repairs.
