Description

This is the newest model from Asturias, and is built under the supervision of master guitar maker Wataru Tsuji. It is part of their new series, called the "Traditional Works". It features a more compact body shape with slightly smaller proportions - based on the instruments built by the early Spanish masters such as Torres, Manuel Ramirez, Santos and Esteso. Aptly named the "Comfort" model, this guitar features a 630mm scale length, which makes it a bit easier on the left hand for guitarists with smaller hands who feel challenged by instruments made with standard 650mm length. Asturias have been careful to insure that nothing is given up with regards to tone or volume, so they have delivered an excellent instrument with the same quality of sound and playability they have always delivered. As expected from Asturias, the fit and finish of this guitar is perfect, and materials are high quality. German spruce is used for the top, as is high-grade Indian rosewood for the back and sides. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a smaller-bodied, shorter-scale high-quality and affordable concert instrument.
