Description

This is a fine example of Smallman’s latest style of construction, most notably featuring maple lining on the interior of the guitar. These instruments are known for their great power and piano-like sustain. The heavily domed and very thick back gives the guitar a very rigid and stiff outer shell, forcing all the vibration to the soundboard, which is thinly built and reinforced internally with a unique lattice system. This guitar also features Smallman's adjustable neck design, allowing significant changes to the setup and action in mere minutes. Smallman’s instruments have been played for years most famously by John Williams, and several other concert artists, including Xufei Yang, Ben Verdery, Carlos Bonnell and others. Condition is like-new/mint.
