Description

This guitar was constructed by Jesús de Jiménez in his workshop located in Gilena - which is located midway between Sevilla and Granada deep in the heart of Andalucia. Known for their super dry sound, his instruments have attracted the attention of many pros around Sevilla. A quick look through youtube videos and you can see videos of his instruments being played by such players as Nino de Pura, Manolo Franco, David Vargas and Rafael Riqueni among others. This particular guitar is punchy, lively and as already mentioned, quite "dry" in its sound. Incredibly easy to play with low action and comfortable neck. It's a flamenca negra that has many qualities similar to Conde negras from the 70's and 80's in terms of its sonic character, sturdy build and responsiveness. An incredible value for the price.
