2018 Teodoro Perez "Especial" SP/ZR

The "Especial" is the top model from the Perez shop, and offers the absolute best in terms of decoration and materials. The sound is very distinctly Spanish, with a full, romantic tone and quick attack. There is plenty of warmth, clarity and volume for any situation, while retaining exceptional playability. Volume is also exceptional, even by "Madrid school" standards. It also features more elaborate detail work, including additional purfling and inlay work. The materials selected for this model are always top-notch, this particular instrument featuring a dramatic and highly figured set Ziricote for the back and sides, bound on the top and back in maple which is simply nothing short of stunning. All in, this is a gorgeous concert guitar for both appearance and sound. Although used, this instrument is in excellent condition with barely any signs of prior use.
