Guitarras Romero is the result of a collaboration between Pepe Romero Jr. and the late Wolfgang Jellinghaus. There, he builds handmade guitars of amazing quality in a manufactory. Together the two produce classical concert guitars of high quality, which are available at a very attractive price. The España model is designed by Pepe Jr. using traditional Spanish designs inspired by the renowned guitars of Miguel Rodriguez, Santos Hernandez and Romero's own custom builds, using a traditional five-fan bracing. Interestingly, the bracing is fine-tuned with two V-shaped braces and a crossbar to favor treble resonance. These guitars have tremendous power, sustain and clarity. The instruments are hand-built to Pepe's exact specifcations by the small Jellinghaus team in China. The resulting guitar has quick, immediate response with great power and a full, clear tone. Although used, this guitar is in excellent condition with only some minor wear in the finish. With its great acoustic characteristics and easy playability due to a very comfortable neck, this guitar is a really excellent choice in this price range.
