Description
This Casa Montalvo "Fleta" model from the 2000s (the label is not dated) is a spruce and cypress guitar with a tap plate, made in Mexico after the designs of Ignacio Fleta – a fine crossover instrument, donated to the GSI Foundation.
The Casa Montalvo "Fleta" Model
This is the "Ignacio Fleta" model, and although it has a tap plate installed and cypress back and sides, it plays wonderfully as either a classical or a flamenco guitar – a very nice instrument for the crossover player looking to do both styles.
Condition
It's in excellent condition, with no cracks or repairs and barely any signs of prior use.
GSI Foundation
This guitar was generously donated to our non-profit charitable organization, the GSI Foundation. Guitar sales through the GSI Foundation raise money to directly benefit music education in public schools. Feel free to contact us for more information.
