Description

We consider Jose Marin Plazuelo to be one of the finest, most consistent guitar makers in the world at anywhere near this price. His guitars have outstanding tonal qualities, are expertly made with great attention to detail and are just plain fun to play. They follow in the tradition of Santos and Barbero being very light and fairly small bodied. This flamenco model is nearly identical to the guitar made by his well-known uncle, Antonio Marin Montero and has the featherweight, punchy raspiness of the southern Spanish school. Playability is a dream, and materials are superb. This guitar has a punchy, loose and very open sound and has enormous power - super fun guitar to play. Condition is excellent - no cracks, damage - and only a small amount of wear in the finish. This is a great flamenco built deep in the heart of Andalucia.
