Description
This is a beautifully-made, fantastic-sounding guitar by all standards. It is traditionally made, showing some structural influence internally from Enrique Garcia and Francisco Simplicio with an asymmetrical 8-fan bracing pattern, with the extra fan on the treble side. The sound is incredibly balanced across all registers with a robust, plump and full sound in every note. The very precise and well-defined fundamental anchors each note with a rich helping of ringing overtones giving a layered, velvety texture to the tone. The great style of sound is matched with Walter's tasteful aesthetic decisions in the very elegant inlay work, in particular his use of alternating dark/light diamond shapes in the center of the rosette, tie-block and headstock. Materials are top-quality - Walter uses only the best woods which he selects in Italy, Spain and Germany and dries for many years with great care. Walter's guitars are used by many top professional and competition winning players, including Andrea De Vitis, Daniela Rossi, Fernando Espi, Karim Baggili, Piera Dadomo, Johan Fostier, Oman Kaminsky, Pablo Garibay, Rory Russell, Jan Depreter, Gaelle Solal and Pavel Steidl.
