The GSI Foundation Extends Its Support of Lead Guitar Classical Guitar Programs!

We're very proud to announce that the GSI Foundation has recently donated another $18,000 to extend its support of classical guitar programs provided by Lead Guitar for another year. Since 2019, we've been working very closely with Lead Guitar to provide music education opportunities for children in public schools in the greater Los Angeles area. Currently, the GSI Foundation supports eight LAUSD schools with lead guitar programs: Carlos Santana Arts Academy, Van Nuys Elementary School, Sendak Elementary School, PUC eCALS High School, Holmes Middle School, Canterbury Elementary School, Belmont High School, and Markham Middle school.

In addition to providing music education opportunities for young musicians, Lead Guitar is also the main partner of the GSI Foundation and Córdoba Guitars in producing "We Are Guitar" broadcasts. The main goal of these virtual shows is to connect young guitar students with their guitar idols.
