He gained international recognition with the release of his album “The Soundtrack”, on which he recorded his arrangements of famous movie themes, which he also published in his collection “Unforgettable Movie Themes”, a publication that has been sold in more than thirty countries.

Ennio Morricone’s “Chi Mai” is a masterpiece of evocative film music, transcending its cinematic origins to become a standalone work of profound beauty. Originally composed in the late 1960s, the piece gained widespread fame through its inclusion in the 1981 French film Le Professionnel, directed by Georges Lautner and starring Jean-Paul Belmondo. Nemanja recorded his arrangement of this piece on a 2007 Daryl Perry "Simplicio" classical guitar made with spruce top and satinwood back and sides.

José Padilla Sánchez’s “La Violetera” is a charming and enduring piece of music that has captured the hearts of audiences for over a century. Composed in 1914, this Spanish classic became a hallmark of the "cuplé" genre, a popular style of theatrical song in Spain during the early 20th century. The title, La Violetera ("The Violet Seller"), refers to the flower vendors traditionally seen in the streets of Madrid and other Spanish cities, evoking a nostalgic image of urban life. Nemanja recorded his arrangement of this piece on a 2009 José Ramirez "Centenario" classical guitar made with spruce top and CSA rosewood back and sides.

"If I Were a Rich Man" is one of the most beloved songs from Fiddler on the Roof, the iconic musical by Jerry Bock (composer) and Sheldon Harnick (lyricist), with a book by Joseph Stein. Premiering on Broadway in 1964, the show is based on the stories of Sholem Aleichem, centering on the life of Tevye, a poor Jewish milkman in the fictional village of Anatevka. The musical explores themes of tradition, faith, love, and resilience in the face of change and hardship. Nemanja recorded his arrangement of this piece on a 2024 German Vazquez Rubio "Divina" classical guitar made with cedar top and Palo Escrito back and sides.

“Where Do I Begin?” is a timeless ballad that has captivated audiences since its debut in 1970. Composed by Francis Lai, with lyrics by Carl Sigman, the song was created as the theme for the film Love Story, directed by Arthur Hiller and based on Erich Segal’s best-selling novel of the same name. The instrumental version of the theme earned Lai an Academy Award for Best Original Score, while the lyrical version became a chart-topping hit when performed by Andy Williams, as well as other artists including Shirley Bassey and Tony Bennett. Nemanja recorded his arrangement of this piece on a 2011 Rafael Moreno Rodriguez classical guitar made with spruce top and maple back and sides.

“Love Theme” from The Godfather is one of the most iconic pieces of film music ever written. Composed by the celebrated Italian composer Nino Rota, this hauntingly beautiful theme became synonymous with Francis Ford Coppola’s 1972 cinematic masterpiece, The Godfather. The film, based on Mario Puzo’s novel, chronicles the story of the Corleone family, intertwining themes of power, loyalty, and love against the backdrop of organized crime. Nemanja recorded his arrangement of this piece on a 2020 Stefan Nitschke "1912 Manuel Ramirez" classical guitar made with spruce top and CSA rosewood back and sides.

Nicola Piovani’s theme from "Life Is Beautiful" (La Vita è Bella) is a poignant and lyrical composition that captures the emotional essence of Roberto Benigni’s 1997 Academy Award-winning film. The movie tells the story of Guido, a charismatic and optimistic man, who uses his humor and creativity to shield his son from the horrors of a Nazi concentration camp during World War II. Nemanja recorded his arrangement of this piece on a 2015 Angelo Vailati (Ex Gianvito Pulzone) classical guitar made with spruce top and Indian rosewood back and sides.

Nemanja recorded his beautiful composition “Prelude in B minor”. The piece has a melancholic and reflective quality. Nemanja performed on a 2021 Kenneth Brogger "1864 Torres" classical guitar made with spruce top and CSA rosewood back and sides.

Zorba’s Dance is one of the most recognizable pieces of Greek music, composed by Mikis Theodorakis for the 1964 film "Zorba the Greek". Directed by Michael Cacoyannis and based on the novel by Nikos Kazantzakis, the film tells the story of an Englishman who befriends the exuberant and free-spirited Alexis Zorba on the island of Crete. The music is integral to the film’s celebration of life, joy, and resilience, with Zorba’s Dance becoming its defining theme. Nemanja recorded his arrangement of this piece on a 2021 Teodoro Perez "Antigua" classical guitar made with cedar top and African rosewood back and sides.

Nemanja Bogunovic performing his composition titled "Uranak". “Uranak” means morning song and the piece definitely captures the feel of a beautiful day that is about to begin. Nemanja recorded this piece on a 1995 Miguel Rodriguez "Centenario" classical guitar previously owned by maestro Angel Romero. This instrument is made with cedar top and CSA rosewood back and sides.
