Description

The "Royal" and "Imperial" have been the two standard "top models" from the Paulino Bernabe workshop for several years now. This guitar - very similar to these models - was made in 2000 and rather appropriately, called the "Millenium". It features additional decorative elements (like the half-herringbone inlay in top and back purfling, full herringbone around and inside the mosaic of the rosette, etc), aged woods and maple lining (to the inside of the sides) and is fitted with Rodgers tuners. Only his best and most aged woods were reserved for these instruments and this particular instrument features striking materials. The doubling of the sides (in this case with maple) adds additional volume and projection and adds a depth of color to the sound emanating from the box. The guitar plays and sounds fantastic, and although a used guitar, it has only some very minor playing wear in the finish and is in otherwise excellent condition.
