Description

This is a gorgeous and meticulously-made guitar from one of America's most well-known luthiers, Dake Traphagen. It features beautiful materials, including Graf tuners with snakewood buttons. It has a smooth, round and balanced classical tone, with a fast response more typical of a Spanish flamenco guitar. It is a very fun guitar to play, and has great power for any concert situation. The cedar top gives the tone enormous width and fullness in every note without giving up clarity between the voices. The guitar also has a 20th fret for the high E-string, allowing players to reach the high C natural required for such pieces as "Sueno en la Floresta" by Barrios. Playability and setup are very comfortable and the guitar is in excellent condition with barely any signs of having been played.
