This is a true flamenco guitar, built with a spruce top, Pau Ferro back and sides (with beautifully contrasting lighter sapwood in the center area), and finished in a lighter more "orange" lacquer that was so in vogue at this time. As usual it also features his best ebony for the fret board and a Honduran cedar neck. It has an immediate, punchy attack with bitey trebles and growly basses, giving it a lot of "rasp" in all registers. In addition to the super fast responsiveness it is also very comfortable to play, especially for a longscale. It has a ringing sound but is still nicely percussive at the same time. Felipe has done an amazing job at capturing the sound of this vintage and iconic era. Another stunning instrument from this famous shop. Although "pre-owned" this guitar shows no signs of prior use and is in completely brand-new condition.
