The Cordoba C12 SP/IN is a new all-solid classical guitar from Cordoba's Luthier Series, with a European spruce top and Indian rosewood back and sides.
Esteso Rosette and Flamed Maple Back Wedge
The handmade Cordoba C12 features the vintage elegance of a hand-inlaid mother-of-pearl rosette inspired by a 1920s Domingo Esteso design, and a beautiful flamed maple wedge on its solid Indian rosewood back.
Lattice Bracing and a Raised Fingerboard
Modern design elements include a lattice-braced top and a raised fingerboard for easy playability when accessing the upper frets. Other features are black and gold tuning machines, an ebony fingerboard and an adjustable truss rod. It includes a Cordoba humidified arch-top hard-shell case.

Background
Cordoba Guitars: Founded in 1997 by Tim Miklaucic
Cordoba was founded in 1997 by Tim Miklaucic, who started out by gathering a team of master luthiers to build nylon-string guitars in the Spanish tradition. The company grew from there into a full line of classical and flamenco guitars, from student instruments to the US-built Master Series. In 2023 Cordoba Music Group, the company behind Cordoba, became part of Yamaha Guitar Group.
Kenny Hill and Edmund Blöchinger, Designers Emeritus
Two master luthiers whose own guitars are well known to GSI customers serve as Cordoba's designers emeritus: Kenny Hill, the California guitar maker behind the Hill and New World guitars, and Edmund Blöchinger of Dorfen, Germany, one of the most sought-after Torres-inspired luthiers working today.
Cordoba at GSI
GSI is a Cordoba dealer and carries a selection of the brand's nylon-string guitars, from the Luthier Series, made in China, to the Master Series, made in the USA.
