Description

This is a great Fleta from 1989. It has a combination of tremendous power, balance, warmth and clarity – all qualities associated with a great instrument from this period. The sound is very haunting, dark and mysterious, making it wonderfully suited to contemporary, Spanish or South American repertoire. Another remarkable characteristic is its superb sustain in virtually every register. Playability is easy, with a very comfortable neck and response to the right hand. Condition is excellent with only some minor playing wear. This guitar was previously owned by the German guitarist Juergen Ruck, who recorded on it for his Deutsche Grammophon recording of contemporary works with the Berlin Philharmonic, conducted by Claudio Abbado. An extremely powerful and bold Fleta from a great period, this is very desirable to both the collector and performer.
