Mariano Tezanos is world famous for the work of his father (same name) who stamped M. T. inside some of the greatest guitars from Ramirez during the 60s, 70s and 80s. Teodoro Perez also worked with Ramirez as one of his great artisans for several decades. Considering the quality of sound, materials, playability and workmanship, this guitar is extremely hard to beat for this price range. The sound is very well balanced with clear singing trebles, and excellent rich, robust bases with great sustain. With the gorgeous CSA rosewood sides and back, immaculate workmanship and big, Madrid-style sound, this is definitely a great value. Condition of this guitar is excellent with no damage and no repairs. There is almost no playing wear either - it's virtually mint. Although this is a flamenco negra, it is quite versatile in sound and playability and could also be used for classical playing - it's a great crossover instrument that does a great job in virtually any style of music.
