Description

This is a fine concert-level guitar built in the renowned Madrid workshop of Ignacio Rozas, who worked in both the Jose Ramirez shop (1959-1969) and the Contreras shop (1970-1987) before setting up on his own. It has a rich, full-bodied tone and plenty of volume, as well as a classic appearance (especially the headstock which is topped with an ebony toreador cap) and comfortable playability. This is a particularly beautiful example of his work with darkened/aged spruce top, a very "busy" set of birdseye maple for the back and sides with neck and headstock also of birdseye maple and herringbone purfling in the top. Although used, it is in fantastic condition, with only some cosmetic wear in the finish - no damage or repairs at all.
