Description

This guitar, made in 2001 by the great Granada-based builder Paco Santiago Marin (nephew of Antonio Marin), is a fantastic classical. Perhaps among the most powerful of the Granada instruments, these also have a very elegant, lyrical voice, and yet at the same time, it has a very rich and thick quality of tone across all registers - very impressive especially since it's a spruce top.

This particular guitar is outstanding by every measure - a concert player's dream with a huge sound, immediate attack, consistent sustain up and down the register, and a huge color palette. Condition is excellent with absolutely no damage or repairs of any kind - only cosmetic wear in the finish from over 2 decades of regular use. Many well-known players including Eliot Fisk, Leo Brouwer, Ricardo Gallén and Marco Tamayo (among others) have played and recorded on instruments by this builder. This is a great instrument by one of the most respected Spanish builders alive today.
