Description
This 2009 "New World" by Hill Guitar Company "Estudio 628" is a short-scale classical guitar with a solid spruce top and laminated Indian rosewood back and sides, made for Kenny Hill.
The New World "Estudio" Series
The New World "Estudio" series guitars are made exclusively for Kenny Hill, with the same commitment to quality found in Hill guitars made in California. This one has a hand-selected solid spruce soundboard, producing a richer bass, distinct trebles and the powerful projection players are seeking.
A 628 mm Scale
With a shorter 628 mm string length, this guitar is great for players looking for a smaller, more comfortable guitar. So while students will find it attractive, players of any level will find everything about it first-class.

Background
New World Guitars by Kenny Hill
"New World" guitars are made exclusively for Kenny Hill in China – in a factory in Guangzhou of which Kenny is a founding shareholder – with the same commitment to quality found in the Hill guitars made in California. Every instrument is given its final setup and adjustment in Hill's shop in California before being offered for sale, reflecting Kenny's commitment to giving players reasonably priced guitars without compromising quality.
Kenny Hill
Kenny Hill is a California guitarist, composer and guitar maker. Since 1989 he has built copies of the great historical guitars in his "Master Series", and his own modern Signature and Performance models – with double tops, lattice bracing and sound ports – are made by hand in his workshop in Ben Lomond, near Santa Cruz. He is also designer emeritus for Cordoba Guitars.
