Description

This is a concert instrument built by US luthier Richard Brune. One immediately notices the partial cutaway feature - viewed from behind, all appears as normal with the entire back plantilla present, which to the performer, feels normal from the standard playing position. However from the treble-side rib starting at the fingerboard, there is an angled and recessed cutaway with oval-shaped sound port in its center. Additionally the fingerboard is slightly elevated - this combined system allowing easier access to the higher registers for the left hand. Although a second-hand instrument, the guitar appears to have been barely played as it is in virtually new condition.
