Description

This is a beautiful sounding Manuel Adalid guitar, based on structural details from the work of Antonio de Torres - the smaller body shape and style of detailing is reminiscent of the great guitars put out in Torres' "first epoch". With an easy neck shape and smaller scale, it plays like a dream. Soundwise, it has a very open sound with plenty of volume and a nice responsiveness, likely the result of a beautifully cut spruce top French polished in shellac. It also has excellent responsiveness with quick attack and great volume - hallmarks of the famous Torres style. Although a second-hand guitar, it is in excellent condition with only some minor wear in the finish. A custom-fitted hard shell case is included.
