From one of Granada's most famous workshops, Jesús Bellido is a member of one of that city's leading families of guitar making. Both his father, Manuel López Bellido and his uncle José López Bellido have been highly-regarded makers for several generations and along with Antonio Marin Montero are regarded as the founders of the modern Granada school. Jesús began his career as in the family workshop when he was just 14 years old. Within a few years was building guitars under his own name and has become known and respected for building traditional, small-bodied classical and flamenco guitars, typical of the Granada school. This lightweight guitar - a very charming homage to Torres - has a strong bite that is matched with a subtle sweetness, which we think would make it the perfect concert-level classical guitar for the serious player. This guitar will appeal great to the player with smaller hands due to it's noticeably thin and flat neck profile as well as the slightly more compact "Torres" body proportions. Although used it is in great condition with no prior damage or repairs, only some very mild wear in the finish.
