This is G.V. Rubio's Gerundino-inspired model, which he built several years ago at our request, but no longer does, making this a rare guitar indeed. While not a direct copy, it has the throaty Spanish voice of the original and profound volume - especially the first two strings, making for picado that explodes from the instrument. The action is very low and the top is very responsive, contributing to extremely fast and easy playability. Mechanical pegs keep the looks traditional and the headstock light, while being as easy to tune as machines. These combined with the 12-hole bring make string changes very fast. Condition is nearly new, and as usual for German, the build quality, wood choice and French polish finish are exceptional. A thoroughly professional instrument in all respects. Overall, a beautiful-sounding flamenco blanca concert guitar at an affordable great price.
