Completely hand-made in the Teodoro Perez workshop, Marco Tejeda's guitar models are named after the neighborhoods of Madrid - in contrast to his brother-in-law Sergio Perez, who names his models after the various cities of Spain. "La Latina" is a popular and ancient neighborhood of Madrid. Marco is the son-in-law of Teodoro Perez and the 4th member of their workshop where he has been working since 2009. His "La Latina" model has its own unique bracing system but still has the same high standards of fit-and-finish of all the instruments made in this workshop. It is made with high grade Indian rosewood back and sides, lacquer finish and is fitted with Rubner tuning machines. The cedar top version has a big, rich sound with deep basses and thick trebles. It's also ultra-responsive with a nice, quick attack and has plenty of power for concertizing and recording alike. Like every guitar we have seen from the Perez workshop, the set-up is superb and the attention to detail is impeccable. A hardshell case is included with this guitar.
