Description

Called the "Solista", this model features German's latest bracing system (which has previously only been used in his top, elite models). This bracing system fattens out the tone particularly in the trebles, giving the guitar an overall warmer sound. This particular guitar from 2020 has been "heavily" played as can be seen by the extensive wear in the finish - which is purely aesthetic - the guitar is otherwise in structurally perfect condtion with no cracks or repairs. It was originally fitted with a 20th fret, armrest and 4-piece back (with a thin, blue strip of purfling separating the inner pieces of rosewood from the outer), and its prior owner had a few more modifcations added afterwards including endpins (so the guitar can be played standing up with a strap) as well as a carved sound-port on the upper bout of the bass-side rib (see photo #2 in gallery). The guitar has been played so much that it is incredibly "open" - it has a huge, fat sound with remarkable responsiveness making playability an absolute breeze. The guitar easily boasts enough power for any concert setting - in ensemble, or solo. All in this is a very versatile and strong instrument by any standard.
