This guitar is a monster of a flamenco from Miguel Rodriguez Jr., arguably one of the finest luthiers of the twentieth century. It has all the qualities of traditional gypsy flamenco guitars, including a big sound that resonates off the top, back and sides. It has a loose, loud and penetrating sound with big basses and crystal clear trebles. Although a blanca, it is made with cedar for the soundboard, a combination of woods found in many of the finest Rodriguez instruments. The instrument was previously owned by the great flamenco player Manolo Franco - you can see him in the video below performing on this very instrument. It is a superb example of a great Andalucian flamenco by one of history's greatest builders.
